The best solution is to have your mulch replaced with high-quality hardwood mulch.
Yes, you will need your windows cleaned after pressure washing. Pressure washing will leave a water spots on them. Also, consider spider spraying after pressure washing and before window cleaning. It is the ideal time because the pressure washing displaces the spiders. As they move back to create webs, they crawl on the spider spray.
